I wouldn't be going that fast. The speed rating for the Kenda K270 tires is like 86 mph. So it would be wise not to exceed that. And besides, the fastest I ever got the KLX on the interstate is 75mph. Speed limit wouldn't allow otherwise, also the limited power of the KLX too.

About a year ago I was fine tuning my main jet and analyzing snorkel performance on a very windy day. I made full throttle runs in both directions and averaged the runs. I had to back off at 90mph (true, not speedo) when I developed a speed wobble. At the time, my D606's were about half worn out and the front had the normal cupping.
I put Shinko 705's on prior to doing a SS1000 and BB1500 last November. I'm sure I could have exceeded 100 mph then, but had no reason to try.
BTW, the bike is a 2006 351.

My mom was right,,,most men are pigs...LOL Actually I was looking at her hair, it was perfect. And what a great smile. But again the talking made me move on pretty fast. As soon as she started talking about diet and food, I shut down pretty quick.

If I wanted to go fast (i.e. 100MPH), I wouldn't have bought a KLX250. The bike is perfect for what I use it for and it get's plenty fast out in the woods. Besides, when I want to go fast, I use this...
