I am in Orange County NY, if you want to head over here I have all the tools, shop manuals, a variety of shims, a garage and most important, I have adjusted valves many times in the past. Drop me a PM if you want help.

And BTW, unless your valves are slapping/ticking really loud or the bike is running poorly I doubt you would cause any damage riding over the next three weeks.

I can hear a slightly enhanced tickering but not a wild slappin kind, and its been burning oil lately. Plus i have found my mid pipe leaking a little tiny bit of oil at the seems....

Bought the bike from Razee's... they defiantly know their stuff, just trying to find someone a little cheaper and closer, oh wellcant win em all. I'll call razee's tomorrow and get a quote. Thanks for the piece of mind.

thanks for the offer marc, but i'm 3hr and 9minuets away, according to mapquest... the gas to power my truck to get there would probably = the amt of paying someone here to do it... thanks thought, i really appreaciate it

um.... oil coming out of the mid pipe of the EXHAUST is bad... its not a two stroke... i think the valves being out are the least of your worries... that sounds like alot of oil.

and its been burning oil lately.
By chance, does your bike have the crankcase mod? If so, it could be pulling oil through the air box.

yeah it does have the CC mod... i put in a 3/4" rubber hose with a filter on the end up under the seat. it wasnt ever dripping oil when i checked it, but the spring that holds it together was all oily underneath but not the one on top. so i just figured it was dripping on it while riding or something.
