Any tips for actually kick starting it? I find it pretty damn hard and thats even with the engine already warm. Im not sure Id be happy if I was relying on the kick starter given my experience kicking it so far!

With the stock cvk carb....it can be a bitch to kick, especially cold.
Shoot it can be hard to start the klx with the cvk with a frickin electric start cold.
Pumper FCR........NO Problem.
I used to carry a small 3 oz ether shooter in my pack for just such a situation when I had the cvk.......but that damn kicker always worked on the trail when I needed her.....In the garage cold was another issue.
Only tip I can give that I think works....at least for me, is the rapid fire approach....kick fast and repeatedly until she fires...I may say its a bitch, but its not really.
Oh, if you think kicking the klx is tough....try an lc4....thats an art

I'm wondering WHERE you got the kit? I'm interested to have it as a backup on the trail. PS, I think I found a loop hole for title (other thread) so MN should/hopefully will accept everything and issue title. Thanks.
