Yeah I am not 100% sold on the need for a kill switch. For sure its gotten me in more trouble than it saved me. I have used it to kill the bike then let the battery drain by not remembering to turn the key off. I have also bumped the kill switch to half kill position which would let me crank the bike without spark. That drove me insane for about 10min trying to figure out what was wrong with the bike.

But I doubt I will be deleteing it like I did with the kickstand

Removed mine today as I was finishing the 351 install
