99.9% of the members fit into the first three categories. So its all good, and a good reminder. Everyone around here is doing a great job asking, helping and learning. I'm proud to be associated with a group like most of you.

Very good post indeed, I was definitely an absorber for a long time, still am actually as people come up with more innovative ideas on modifying the KLX. The only thing I've really contributed thus far are several tire reviews and a few pics here and there.

I admit it, I'm an absorber, just call me sponge Bob. I aspire to be a giver though. Thank God for givers or I would be a complete idiot about my bike, instead of just a partial idiot. And by the way, takers never prosper.

+1 on the good post. This is a great forum. Try KTM talk, it takes days to find out something about a SuperDuke. If I need to know something about a KLX or my ZX10 it takes seconds! There are some really knowledgeable people here that like to help. I even like the "bad posters" it makes it more interesting.

+1 on this post, I have found this forum to be a fantastic help in working on the klx. I am trying to catchup to you guys (not much of a mechanic). i try to pass on info if it's new, but i am doing things that you have done so no point in repeating. It would be a huge loss if those who are so knowledgable stopped helping a dumbarse like me
cheers and thanks for all the help
PS be part of the solutions not part of the problems

RE: KF as I see it.
I love the KF. I dont use it as much as I used to as I absorbed alot of info to make my bike the wonderful machine it is today. I also believe my comments of some topics have also helped someone make their green machine much better too. Amid all the info available (using the search function helps narrow the clutter) I saw other 'non mod' stuff like pics of weekend bike trips, pics of bikes andgenerally guys (and girls) showing off their prize possesion. Now that my bike is modded to my satisfaction, I usually view the KF once a week or so to see thosepics and to lend a hand whenever I can.
Please dont be disheartened by the ********* of KF.Lets not go down the thumpertalk road. If someone gives you the ****s...just ignore it.
So sit back, shut up, hang on and enjoy the ride.
