um... all motorcycle tires wear out in the center.... thats car tires.

Any follow up with these? This looks like a good tire for my needs. Even if I have to replace the rear more. They are like $65 for the rear. I have paid that for bicycle tires.

Good tires so far, i haven't put a whole lot of miles on them so i can't speak to how long they will last though.

I had those on a f650gs and they were slippery like crazy, even on dry pavement, so I trashed them even if they were still 50% good. I did not want to give them away because I didn't want anybody to get hurt because of those tires. The trailwings or the tourance are a much better choice in that category.

Seems like you have to spend a bit of money on some tires to get a fair amount of life and a tire that performs up to expectations. The Metzeler Enduro 3 Sahara seems to have good reviews and the Continental TKC 80 does as well for a bit more aggressive tread.
The off brands seem to work for some not for others or for a shorter life.
