Wearing out center - overinflation? The pressure on the sidewall is the max the tire is rated for. Pressure to run - consult owner's manual for the starting point.

OK. I haven't worn out any MC tires, I'll see if can do something about that next year.

Any follow up with these? This looks like a good tire for my needs. Even if I have to replace the rear more. They are like $65 for the rear. I have paid that for bicycle tires.

Good tires so far, i haven't put a whole lot of miles on them so i can't speak to how long they will last though.

Thank you and sorry for the typo's. I think I will give them a shot. For my current use they are a better solution than stock.

I had those on a f650gs and they were slippery like crazy, even on dry pavement, so I trashed them even if they were still 50% good. I did not want to give them away because I didn't want anybody to get hurt because of those tires. The trailwings or the tourance are a much better choice in that category.

Thank you. Someone else mentioned that after 50% they were scary.

Seems like you have to spend a bit of money on some tires to get a fair amount of life and a tire that performs up to expectations. The Metzeler Enduro 3 Sahara seems to have good reviews and the Continental TKC 80 does as well for a bit more aggressive tread.

The off brands seem to work for some not for others or for a shorter life.

The 761s get mixed reviews on Motorcycle Superstore. Some rave about them, others called them dangerous.
