Default Keihin fcr mx flat slide carb swap

I am going to pick up a fcr mx flat slide pumper carb
and put it on my 2009 klx250sf has any one tried this
and what was the out come thanks.

It's a tighter fit than the Mikuni 36 pumper, but it's been done. Do a Bing/Google search for "fcr carb on a klx250" and you'll get numerous hits with Thumpertalk probably having the most input.

Thankx for the info that is just what I needed
now that I know it will fit I will pick one up
and see what all the hub bub is all about

Deej is the supreme moderator in charge around here. He's known for keeping his bikes sparkly clean. I suppose that was an inside joke . . .

FCR has been done on some 300s, similar. I understand it may require some frame grinding.

I've wondered because a 37 or 39 FCR can be had for a bit over $100 with some digging on ebay. I saw an 05 and 04 CRF250R carb set, one around $100 the other $125 with throttle assembly and cables.
