took off the emissions stuff today, plugged the airbox and carb port however i left the hose on the exhaust manifold, put the double male connector that is in line on the hose going to the air box and stuck it in the end of the hose off the exhaust and then just capped the other end of the connector (i was afraid putting a rubber cap directly on the exhaust port might melt it) then i just zip tied the hose to the spark plug wire to keep it away from the motor. looks pretty clean, give me your opinions, good idea or bad?

i havent even had a chance to go for a ride yet but from what ive read it doesnt really make a difference other than the exhaust running a little cooler.
