no offense taken mark. I've got thick skin. Some people think I argue with people; I'm not. I'm debating them because I'm one of the few that have been here since the beginning and haven't left. I'll admit, several have probably left this forum cuz I won't, but that says something about them. I do have strong opinions, but I'm always trying to steer people away from unnecessary mods and towards the proven ones that work and work for 99% of riders of all terrain and environments. Sure, alot of haters on me, open and not. But I don't care; they usually shut up when I'm proven correct as I just was earlier today. I'm curious to know if the '09 dj kit shares the same needle as the 300 kit because the 300 needle has been hailed as the next savior. Personally, I can't tell the diff. between the N1TC and jets I had in my '06 and this DJ kit. The DJ kit was more readily available this time and I went with it. Plus, Nobrakes said it would work. Listen to him btw. He usually proves me wrong, and even though we've went round and round, he usually proves me to be an idiot, I still really respect him. He's one to listen to if any. good luck.

Shoot, I should have taken a picture of the 09 needle side-by-side with the stock needle. The DJ 09 needle was much, much thinner than the stock needle. Got the kit all in and all the smog stuff pulled and cleaned up. I just saw your pics of the full Muzzy system. That looks GREAT!!! Sweet looking pipe. I was set on a 2-brothers slip-on but now I'm having second thoughts. Any good lines on where to pick up that Muzzy setup for a good price?

Oh, I do. I ride 5 to 6 days a week both dirt and street. I've had 14 bikes over the past 30 years. Spent years racing motocross and enduro. My current bikes are an F650GS Dakar and my new KLX250S. I'm completely **** about technology and mods. I love it. It's all part of the hobby for me. I won't rest until I think I have the most killer setup on my bike, then when I do, I'll start all over again! I do the same thing with my mountain bikes.

I think they just accept the fact that you are delusional and are heavy on the hyperbole. C'mon, admit it!

How many times have you been banned from these forums, then came back under another name?... That happened at Thumpertalk as well, didn't it..? Yeah, I gues all of those Forum Admins are just 'haters' too, aren't they?

if you read, the dj kit was readily available and I went with it. I've never said it was bad, just overhyped like I still think.
Mark- I was talking about the 300 dj kit needle, not the oem needle. I know it's different.
I told you there were haters, and they still preach the same old ****. They have no ***** and go with the flow like many others on here. You can tell who they are very easily. Tremor is one of them.

Not haters, just folks that laugh at your inconsistencies.

You had the handle of IG at the time of this post regarding someone buying a dynojet kit.....between bannings I take it...lol

roflmao

I noticed you no longer post at Thumper did they block your IP.

Post over at advrider.....I could really enjoy the comedy.

When I purchased my beloved '06 KLXnearly 2 years ago now, I immediately did a search on this here website looking into mods and to what people had done. I found this guy named Nobrakes who along with some idgetnamed Marty and a very highly respectable guy named BMWhd or something, was moddingtheir KLX'spretty heavily. Well, it turns out this guy (nobrakes)is pretty highly respected here and I could see he knew what he was doing and although he installed a Muzzy, I was going to trust what he had done. He had jetted his bike with the N1TC needle. I followed his lead along with theBMWhd guy. This needle was the choice over the DJ, even though the DJ needle and kit had been out for years and available at the time. So since these two chose this setup, I did too. There is a reason for the choice. I think the N1TC is the shiznit, somewhat a chore to get a hold of if you don't know what you're looking for or where to buy it. Anyone can buy a jet kit made in china and slap a DJ, moose, or FMF name on it, use 2 pieces and let the other wasted pieces sit in the little clear container on their shelf after wasting the $60-$70 on it. To acquire the N1TC, set it up with the spacer in the right place and install the other 2 keihin parts is somewhat more satisfying than hoping your made in china kit has what you need. So if you're going to call me a "tool" for saying the N1TC needle is the best, I guess you're saying that to the others who bought it as well. Because had they not thought the same thing about the N1TC being the best option, they'd probably of bought the DJ needle and kit instead.
This thread should be required reading lmao and it is only 6 months old
