well sullydirt (mike) and marty came through panama city today and i just got back from lunch with them. they are both very nice and their bikes also! the bmw is sweet! they just left for pensacola. if you ever have the chance to meet them i suggest you do. keith

Keith, it was great to meet you as well.

Marty and I met at 0700 Saturday morning, about 40 miles from my house. Marty was waiting as I am not always punctual:


We stayed off the interstate and road some beautiful roads.


We stopped around 9:00 to stretch our legs.




I believe this was in Marietta, about an hour from Panama City



It was kinda funny, we turned a corner in front of a Honda dealer, and we heard someone yelling "MARTY"! I saw the KLX and said, that must be him. Keith led the way to a lunch spot:


We ate lunch at "Schooners", the bike's took a rest out front.

My brother and his son were riding from Houston TX to join us. They had a little further to travel than we did. During lunch my brother called and said they were beat. So, I told them to stop in Pensacola, get some rooms and we would be there in a couple of hours. Stiffler, showed us the way out of town, and Marty and I pressed on two hours to Pensacola Beach. My brother was riding the ZX12 and his son the ZRX1200. The Harley wasn't with us:


We had dinner at Hooter's and then sat on the beach and talked while drinking a few beers. Marty and I left at 0700 and took US98 which, winds along the coast.






We had a weekend full of riding. Marty and I covered just about 1,000 miles over the two days. I had a chance to see the Gulf Coast which was new to me. Thanks for meeting us Keith, I hope to see you this January.

That stretch of 98 is just so nice to ride! From about just south of Tyndall AFB to Perry. Nice road, nice scenery - it don't get much better. Well maybe some curves, but this is Florida.
