Voltage is important but anything over 16 should be ok.
The larger the better, 4700uF or higher I would suggest.
You need to connect it in parallel with the vapourtech.
They are polarity sensitive but are usually very well marked.
You will have many lying around.
Just rip one out of an old tv or radio or anything.
Common as muck.

They look like this though they can be many sizes and colours.
4700uF and 25v would be a good start.
Higher numbers are OK.
One lead will be clearly marked positive or negative.
Don't mix them up.

alright man thanks ive probobly got those kicking around ill pull one and give it a try. im a bit rusty at the wiring now its been a few years... could you clarify on how exactly i should wire it up? im pretty sure what im thinking is right but i dont want to screw anything up...

Negative lead of the cap wired to the negative wire going to the vapourtech. Black.
Positive lead of the cap to the positive wire going to the vapourtech. Red.
I have nevered seen a vapourtech so I'm assuming the colours.
