If your looking for power you may as well rejet even if you don't have too. spend the $60 and order the Dynojet KLX300 stage 2 kit. the needle has a more agressive taper. While your at it you should order the Kouba Fuel screw (about $25), this will allow you to adjust the F/A screw with the carb installed.

Thanks X. Just ordered it and a Twin Air intake. I have been reading about a de-ice circuit thingy. Whats is it and how do I get rid of it?.....Thanks as always

Good day Sir, noob in KLX forum also... I suggest to angle the rear fender alittle bit down so it would follow the top of the seats line......



Not a KLX though but it'll make a world of difference..... just my 50 cents opinion....

I see what you mean. The fender I got was a UFO. It doesn't have the natural curve to it like the factory KX fender. I will try to sdjust it. If not, I'll start over.

"Drill out the exhaust" What did you do? Hole size, how many? What effect on the spark arrester? Got pictures?
