Default Just bought a 07 KLX250s Need wheels

So I just bought a 07 KLX250s today, however the owner has two 17" wheels 120 width front and 130 rear. I know these are not stock and he's got it set as a motard.

I'm looking to do more off-road than on. So was wondering which years/makes would fit this bike? Was looking for 18" rear, and 21" front? But not sure what years/makes would fit.

Thanks in advance!

Mostly asking, cause I found a deal on a 04 KLX300 front. So wanting to make sure the wheels will match up correctly..haha

I would the think that the 300 wheel should be a direct swap-the only thing that I'm not certain of would be the speedo drive on the hub.

Got cha. Would be good to know if the 04 would work. Found it for less than $170 in good condition. Since the bike currently has 17/17's I cannot really find any offroad tires, nor would I want duel 17's for trail riding..haha

You may want to put the 21" wheel on the front. Otherwise you'll be wheeling backwards.

I ride hardcore off road with my klx250sf. Hard, but doable. Sand is rough, sit back and goose it. Rock gardens. same concept, sit back and goose it. Hill climb? sit back, and you guessed it. Pray to god you keep a line hahahaha

Haha good advice I like that.. When it doubt..Give it more gas

So anyone know if the 04 Front will work? I've got a 07 back that I know works..haha But can only find a 04 front, and another 09 front. But considering the price gap is nearly 180 between the two. I'd rather spend a little less on the 04 if it will function correctly, since this is a bike I'm just using to muck around with for 6 months well deployed

I've never tried. But All i'm trying to figure out is what year wheels will match up with my 07. So I can get the best deal. I'm not looking to invest a fortune into a bike I'm going to sell for a loss in a few months anyways. This is solely to get me riding offroad for 4 months..haha
