Its just a piece of aluminum, and to get the pattern i put a piece of sand paper rolled up in the drill press and gently pushed down on the aluminum.

Electrical Issues.
Hey guys,
I was installing the vapor dashboard indicator lights and I touched a wire to another wire on accident and I heard something. I then noticed the head light had went out and the bike would not start. I tried disconecting the batter for a few minutes and reconnecting it but still a no go. I'm getting no juice. Any ideas what to do?

EDIT: Went out and checked the fuse, surely enough it was blown. Replaced it with the spare that you mentioned and everything is back to full working condition.

Advice taken.
My current head light is junk. What's a good bright replacement? I was looking at the x2 and the cyclops.
