Jhoffy question thread
Jhoffy, post your ongoing questions HERE, and we will all check it out as it gets bumped up.
I'm sure everyone (except Iowa Guy) will be more than happy to help out the "Young Gun" of our sport.

Great thread, thanks
This will be my own little personal klx 250s journal. Maybe this will prove to be a great resource for someone just like me down the road that ends up getting a klx 250.
A new problem has arisen tonight. Went on my first night ride(just completed the MSF course last weekend) and my head light was up in the trees. It's a after market head light made my Acerbis that has 4 rubber straps that go around the triple clamps. The problem is they are all the same length. The light isn't too bright to begin with so I'm just going to scrap it and start over new. I want to get the brightest head light possible. From the other head lights thread I started, I thought that HID lights were the brightest available but some others chimed in and said that newer age LED's are providing some good competition. For the roads that I ride 90% of the time, I need the brightest light possible.

All current mods and bike status with pictures(6/27/2011)
I figured for anyone that wants to follow, I'll keep this thread updated with all of the mods I do day in and day out to my bike and throw some pics in along the way.
Bike: 2006 KLX250s
Location: Ohio (900 feet average above sea level)
-13/42 front and rear sprockets
-Pro Taper Pillow Top Grips
-Uni Air Filter
-Pirelli MT21 Scorpions (Love these tires so far, serious off road traction)
-Trailtech Vapor Speedometer(need to forge a bracket to fit in between headlight and triple clamp
-Air Filter lid and backfire screen removed
-Dynojet Stage II Kit
-#132 Main Jet
-Dyno Needle with clip 4th notch down from the top w/ 2 washers on top
-#35 stock pilot jet
-Kouba Fuel/Air screw 2.5 - 360degree turns out
-Bill Blue 351 big bore kit
-Bill Blue Smog block off plate and all smog vacuum crap removal
-Marselinos camshaft/exhaust timing mod
-HMF slip on exhaust, stock header, baffles and spark arrestor removed
Tomorrows plans: Adjust jetting and get the bike running the right way. Look for a headlight and tail light to replace broken tail light. I've ordered the Maier kx 300 fender so I need something compatible with it. Also ordering Acerbis Motocross front fender. Possibly edge tail light? Chain adjuster is all the way out on bike and chain is still loose as crap and I am missing the chain case and and cover for the front sprocket. Ordering those along with D.I.D O-ring chain and new front and rear sprockets. Probably staying with the 42 rear and jumping up from a 13t front to a 14t front.
Future plans: Sand green crap off crankcase and polish aluminum. Look at painting shrouds and fenders or buying new plastics kit for bike. Going for a all black look with polished aluminum block. Possibly getting vinyl or carbon fiber wrap and going that route. Planning on powder coating rims black as well.
I'll update this with pics of my bike tomorrow! Goodnight everyone.

HUH?
2.5 turns out should mean 2.5 x 360 = 900 degrees out in total. Perhaps that explains why you are so lean? In fact, if you are only 360* out (i.e. 1 turn) I am wondering how the hell you even managed to start the thing
