Yes, but you might as well throw your money down the toilet. Forcing the mating of a small diameter slipon nipple (DG's for instance) with a large diameter performance header causes a loss of performance across the board.

DJ kits do not include pilot jets. You'll have to get that from Kawasaki.. P/N for the #40 can be easily found in here....

ok thanks. I will probably return my kit and order the 2206 Stage 2 kit. "Stage 2: Intended for vehicles with a stock or mildly tuned engine using a well designed aftermarket pipe with a modified airbox"

Lol.. You're all about "ready fire aim"...

The 2152 kit is what you need. It will fuel a KLX with the lid on AND its' needle can be used to fuel a properly modded lidless KLX...
The 2206 kit can be used as long as you do not install it as per the instructions. NEVER drill your slide lift port for ANY REASON ! The 2206's needle (DNO352) controls midrange fueling better than the 2152 needle (DNO228) when used in a Lidless CVK setup recipe.

yea I removed my snorkel and I am concerned that I may damage the engine from running lean with the slip on. I want to get this bike dialed in because I ride every week with a group of guys that have dedicated dirt bikes. For my style of riding I want low range so it sounds like the DNO352 needle is better for me.

yes that is true because the nipple is smaller in order to fit into a stock header. It would bottleneck the exhaust system lol. I know a welder who could just hack the nipple off and weld a pipe over it for a one piece exhaust and I would only have to buy the Chinese header instead of a full exhaust. This is the only chinese header I could find on ebay. I couldn't find the one that was pictured in the link you sent.

The I.D. of the midpipe and the header must also match. If the midpipe I.D. is same or larger than the header, you are ok to do the fabrication work on the midpipe nipple. Under no circumstances can you create a bottleneck/blockage to flow with an area of restriction within the system..
