Jetting my carb back to stock, need help with fuel screw turns etc.

so you thikn the problem is with the mix? i turned it to about 1.1 or somethinglike that... i have a problem getting that flimsy gasket back in, is there a trick to it? i couldnt get it to sit in the groove so i put it on top and poked in the little parts that were sticking out.. but maybe it got wrinkled in there or something..

Yes, that is definitely a potential problem. You need to soak that diaphragm in HOT! water--like almost boiling--for 5 minutes or longer (until it fits). It will shrink so that it will fit back into the groove at the top of the carb body. If you don't have a good seal there the slide will NOT function.

The DJ kit is cheap. You should have left it alone and bought a new kit for the new bike.
