I will probably swap out my N1TC needle for the DJ one even though it means buying the whole kit.

Why don't you post the link to where you posted your test results for both needles?
Oh, that's right. You've never even seen the DJ needle. [&:]
Thats what I want to see, hard evidence that the N1TC needle is better.

If you've never experimented with the DJ kit, then you have no business saying it's any better or worse than anything else.
+1. Thats just IGnorant! You cant truly state that the grass is better on your side of the fence without trying the grass on the oppisite side. Right?[sm=badidea.gif]

I found this guy named Nobrakes who along with some idgetnamed Marty and a very highly respectable guy named BMWhd or something, was moddingtheir KLX'spretty heavily. Well, it turns out this guy (nobrakes)is pretty highly respected here and I could see he knew what he was doing and although he installed a Muzzy, I was going to trust what he had done.
Kissy. Kissy. Licky. Licky.

I have never seen a DJ needle nor will I ever.
Just shows how narrow minded you are.

The one you had and sold, had maybe 600 miles of riding in the 12+ months you owned it.

IG gives me way too much credit. In reality I was just feeling my way in the dark like everyone else. The real brains behind the carb mods and the so called "Grapevine Mods" were bmwhd, a16tony, scat, and Marty, if I recall correctly. I'm sure there were some others I'm missing but those are the guys that come to mind. I learned from them.

Although im curious to hear the results....wouldn't a downpayment on a FCR 35 pumper make more sense.

I thought that the Mikuni TM36-68 was best.

Hey IG, would you set this guy straight?

how many dirtbikes come with mikunis? FCR's are the best, hands down. that's what Husky uses so it must be true. Oh, yeah the new KX's do too. mikunis are cheap but good for the diy'er replacing a cv on a trailbike. I'd take a BB one.

deej- just wanted to get your curiosity, and it worked. \
