It's not a Kawi, but at least it's green...

cool...thanks for the links and comments. I haven't "torn into" it yet, but did manage to get a couple of new spark plugs and my local Honda dealer was even able to order me a Clymer manual for it! Just waiting for that to come in before tearing anything apart. But I did pick up some muratic acid to try and clean up the inside of the tank, but suspect it will prove to be the biggest task. I'd love to know where to get a tank if needed as I didn't see any on the websites I visited. Thanks again.

Well, although it's not nearly done...I felt I could at least post some recent pics. I have carb on order, got the clymer manual from the Honda dealer and have really just been enjoying the garage time cleaning up and painting some of the parts. Since I picked his up for my daughter's first ride (she is 12 almost 13), she wanted me to paint it. She picked the color and i must say, I think it looks kinda cool. Still have to get that damn KM nut off the steering stem to replace the races and ball bearings to smooth out the steering before I can re-assemble the forks and stuff, but all the brakes are working...lol These bikes were made quite simple which makes it nice to work on.

Jason, tried to return your PM
Not sure if PM went through. I got my parts at Cycle Parts Nation.

Good luck with your project! Our ST90 now makes a very unique (although performance-lacking) pit bike for race day.

Thanks Avictor....have a guy who I am currently dealing with to try and get a complete carb, but it's been a struggle to say the least. I'll certainly check out your link.
