It's a good start.

I've been looking to go to Trophy Club but they require an OHV sticker and I currently don't have one. I have looked around and no one will be selling them until the end of this month. Sounds like I need to hit you up one weekend and check out some of these places.

The only good things about Trophy club are that it is cheap and the trails are one way. They eliminated all of the good singletrack when the city took it over. The jumps on the MX track are pretty big for a KLX, but most are doable.

Depending on how far you want to travel, Barnwell outside Gilmer has jeep quad and two track to suit most skill levels, mostly sand and iron ore rock, lots of hill climbs. The K tail in OK is very rocky around Clayton, and Mena has numerous trails though the upcoming MVUM is closing a lot of the popular places. Forgot to ask the owners if they let dirt bikes in Tree Offroad park just south of Alto, it just opened this year and scoped it out on a quad, lots of sand, trails around %80 of the lake on the property, mostly easy to moderate.
Also check TWT forums I believe there are some members out close to you on there.

I finally got everything installed and the bike dialed in. Ended up going with a 124 on the main jet with the needle at the 3rd clip. Ended up pulling the snorkel off to be able to get it dialed in just right. What big difference jetting the bike makes, even with the starting. Before jetting with everything stock the bike was very cold natured and took for ever to run right. Now it starts up great and no bogging down taking off. All in all I'm really happy with the way it runs now. Of course my wife thinks the pipe is too loud but I like a little noise.
