Interesting concept. But like they state in the video, your legs would start to burn rather quickly. It will be backed by BBR Motorsports. I am curious what they plan on doing with it. In the video they say they want to lighten it by using a 2 stroke motor.

I saw this episode a couple nights ago. I've seen a few minutes of this show previously while channel surfing. But I was shocked when the host hopped on the scooter with no helmet and took off to hit some jumps. I couldn't believe it! Anyone who does that looses all credibility in my mind and I changed the channel immediately.

Yes I noticed that too. I was thinking they should have had a disclaimer or edited that out.

you know
its just a scooter who needs a helmet

I agree with the show needs to be lighter
not sure about 2 stroke though
maybe I just like 4 stroke better for less mainteance

would also think needs more rear wheel travel, so you can hit those jumps

So I remembered about this post I made. Thought I would look to see how this is coming along. To my surprise I cannot find anything on it anymore, just a few pictures here and there. The BBR web site has nothing on it now. I went to the history channel and nothing. I searched Google and the only thing that comes up is this thread and another one on a different web site and a few images. It is like something happened and they don’t want the world to know about, weird.

There are YT vids of Detroit street racers scooters using single cylinder 55hp / +400cc alcohol powered Jr Dragster engines. The scooters run wheelie bars and have variable ratio belt transmissions like a snowmobile.

Mainland Asia is really into it

Are you referring to my link in the first post? If so, that is what I was talking about in my third post, you can't find any info on it anymore.
