Ok, if we take 12% from 175kmh speedo reading ...that gives you an equally impressive but genuine speed reading of 154kmh(96mph). 
Just out of interest, what sprocket sizes are the bike?

from my experience i had a Kawasaki mean streak and that also had a speedo that was 10% off
I called Kawasaki ( not the dealer but the warranty department they reasured me it was in specs to what the USA allows
they purposely make them 10% off to keep us running slower speeds (LOL like that really works)(this was words from the person i spoke too)
Kawasaki is the only bike i have owned that has this problem and i have owned many bikes in the past

klx250sf with stock tires...speedo was off by about 2 to 3 mph as tires wear...as tires wore down flat, i was off by as much as 5 to 6 mph...after installing brand new taller tires, my speedo was actually nearly accurate...5,000+ miles later...my speedo is off by about 2 to 3 mph again...i have a garmin gps mounted which shows accurate speed...
i'm currently running 15t/40t sprockets on the 17" wheels...really like this combination for long freeways/highways...

I've seen my speedo read 96mph or 155kph. Was I going that fast? No. Adjusting the 10% it's off would be 86mph. That was with the help of an 18 wheeler. One good thing about a light bike, the eddy behind the truck really sucks you in and spits you out with a much more pronounced effect.
Normally running flat out I hover between 82 and 83 indicated.
The weird thing was I kept it at 96 until I had to slow down, then couldn't get there again without help.
It still takes forever to get to top speed though, in that regard the bike is a little on the slow side. My other bike will do 0-60 in 3+ seconds only using the first 2 gears, so my comparison isn't fair.
