Default Interested in Supermoto modifications

I am new to the motorcycle world and just got my first. Its the KLX 250S and I love this thing. I have seen a lot of info about the supermoto bikes and am thinking of doing something to my bike with the street tires. Was checking to see if anyone knows about what tires can fit this bike. I am wanting to get a second set of rims and tires for street performace when I ride with some of my sport bike friends. The book that came with the motorcycle doesnt really give any detailed info of what kind of modification I can do as far as changing the type of tire and rims on it. The setups I am looking at are below. Trying to find out if the last setup will work on the bike in the second.

Tire setup I kinda like for 250cc.

Ninja 250r:

front tire 100/80/16

rear tire 130/80/16

Current tire setup I have.

KLX 250s:

FT 80/100/21

RT 100/100/18

Tire setup I am thinking about doing.

KLX 250s custom street setup:

FT 100/80/17

RT 130/80/17

I don't know about the tire sizes specifically but I know the motard version of our bike called the D-Tracker takes 17 inch wheels. Check e-bay for D-Tracker parts and you'll find some wheels that will bolt right on. With any luck you'll be able to score a full set of tires, wheels, rotors, and a sprocket like Mav. did.

Thanks for the info. I could not find any results at ebay searching for D-Tracker but did find this cool pic of a Japaneese version doing a search on google. This would be awsome if I could mod mine similar. Will keep looking on google. Do you have any other sites to check look for these parts?

Found a decent site for parts. http://www.motostrano-store.com/wheelstires.html They have the full kits or just wheels depending how far you want to mod. Still doesnt really give me much info about what I would need to change on the bike such as brake adjustments and how wide or tall of a tire I can fit. I assume most all will fit since they are smaller that the stock wheels.
