Intend to sell to fund trials addiction
2009 KLX351SF with maybe 5,000 miles or so on Bill Blue 351cc kit, 22223 miles total on bike. Just installed green SKF fork seals, new fork bushings, and semi metallic front brake pads. Bike has: Galfer stainless front brake line, recent OEM shift lever, MOSFET replacement regulator/rectifier, Thermobob, Acerbis hand guards, zeta levers,Renthal bars, bar end mirrors, 15T CS sprocket, Leo Vince X3 slip-on. Have 13T and 14T CS sprockets, spark arrestor, several oil filters, various carb jets, OEM 250cc cylinder and piston/rings in good condition, and snorkel, which is removed because I ride street mostly. $3,500. Also have wheels from a KLX250S, Tubliss no tubes, barely used Dunlop D606 tires, longer kickstand, smaller rotor brake mount, and axles. $750. $4,000 for everything, just swap wheels depending on the ride. Reason I am selling is to further fund my mototrials addiction and I just got a new Triumph Speed Twin that is far superior for me on road. Also have size 9 Alpinestars Tech 5 boots and Leatt 5.5 body (s/m) armor both like new, sell for 1/2 price of new for 99-1000% new gear. I am in Va. Beach, VA, giving ya'll a chance at it before I go to Craigslist, thx.

I have had a change of heart. Rode the klx to work today and found myself laughing out loud a number of times. Easy wheelies, easy-quick direction changes, and a plush *** ride with new fork fluid and new SKF fork seals. I forgot how soft that long suspension is in town on crappy roads. Think I will hold on to all my current bikes and start restoring the three vintage trials bikes I acquired this year; two rl250s and a ty175. Hey, is anyone not using super-unleaded with the BB351? I been thinking that if I hear no detonation on regular gasoline I am OK. And I better get a Krieger MCT before the OEM one craps out at 22K miles. Baby KLX is a keeper.

I just hit 15000 miles on my klx 351 and have no future plans to sell it. The bike always leaves me with a smile and is super fun in traffic but might throw a slip on or a klx300 exhaust system on for a bit more sound

Glad to see you are keeping it. I had an '86 and a '87 Honda Reflex. Bought them both brand new for $1,000 each. Those are great bikes if you can find them. Had them for over 20 years. I sold them to buy a road racing bicycle. I so wish I still had them. If you come across one that has the gas tank signed by Bob Hannah that was mine. My brother bought the '87 and I bought it off of him. Geared for trials they would do about 45 mph wide open in sixth HaHa. You've really got a nice stable of bikes there. Oh yeah, my first trials bike was a '74 Kawi KT 250, Kinda heavy front end just as that RL is kinda light in the front. Rode an TL? Honda 125 quite a bit, super fun but had a throttle lag so you'd have to prethink throttle application. Those Reflexes did not have that lag. I loved them.
