Default Installing the Duct Inlet 14073-1577

I am pretty new to this, I just bought a new KLX 250 and I am trying to get more HP out of it. I have done some basic mods (IE Two Bros Slip On and Uni air filter), but before taking the bike in to get re-jetted I wanted to make the snorkel mod.
I bought the 14073-1577 duct inlet part off of RonAyers.com but can someone tell me how to install this? Since I plan on taking the bike in to get re-jetted, does anyone have the recommended settings based on these mods? Thanks!

Ok, I have to ask!
Whyhave a snorkel at all? I just took mine out as the planetklx website said to just get rid of it. My Kawasaki dealer said the same thing...

i like that if i get into water and water goes into the snorkel, it will more likly just drop below the air filter instead of gettin sucked in as its going down.... at least thats what i think..... do you still have your air box lid on?
