I installed two rim lock the other day in the front tire. Some of you might ask why two rim locks? The reason is sometimes when you install only one it can throw off the balance of the rim. Now I don't have to worry about getting the tire balanced. The installation was pretty easy. All I did was drill another hole directly across from the stock hole that is for the rim lock. Our bikes don't come with rim locks but their is a hole in the rim with a rubber plug in it from the factory.
To make tire removal easy It helps to have one of these big tire irons. It make life so much easier! lol

did you take a test ride? Any vibration?

 

I only got to about 65 mph and their was no vibration.[sm=smiley20.gif]

 

Thats not bad. I plan on changing out tires soon and i will be adding 2 on both wheels.

 

I going to add two rim locks to the rear tire soon.
