Installed: Tusk D-Flex handguards on '09 KLX
#11
After insstalling the new handlebars and cutting them down, I had to do a bit more tweaking on the handguards to make them fit. They no longer rub the cables, though, so that's a plus. I had to whop the ball completely off of each lever, but I still have room to fit all four fingers on each lever. We've been riding alot more tight singletrack lately, and these things are holding up great. I don't know why any average rider would spend mega-bucks on something name-brand or more sturdy, unless your name is Racer Rick. These are great.

I tapped mine 5/16-18. But I have SS Hardware and I am not sure if that is what came with it or if that was the tap I had on had and I had the screws to make it work
I tapped mine 5/16-18 works fine I used a SS Hex Socket (allen wrench needed) Flat Head Screw about an 1.25" long.
Hope that helps

That is for the end of the bars... My bars are tapped and off the bike. If you dont want to tap your bars you can buy mine already tapped and with the SS hardware?
PM me if you are interested.
Thanks
