Default RE: How to Get Bike onto Milk Crates?

Rich, even then, though, I don't see of an easy way to get the bike up on the bucket without 2 people. Is there a technique that you can describe for that?

Thanks,
Chris

+1. I've been wondering how one person gets the bike up on the stands that are designed for that purpose.

With much stress on the back... Actually, you basically lean it over on your knee and lever it up onto the crates...
It's still not easy, but you don't have to lift all the weight on your back - your knee takes alot of it.
Personally, I had to splurge on an ATV jack... Got mine for $80 at Canadian Tire (half price).

Lean the bike over on its kickstand slide bucket under the edge of the frame and then lean it over and the bucket will stand up.

I'll give that a try. I've got a jack like the one in Kawi's photo but I think a bucket or a stand would work alot better than having to drag that heavy jack out and have in the way.

i bought the yellow and silver atv dirt bike jack, the handle is removable, it comes off in a second... alot more sturdy and better piece of mind than a bucket or crate.... just my opinion

Hey, I think we probably have the same one EMS - is this the one you have?

Pull the pin and the handle lifts right out so it's out of the way while you work:
