Default INSTALLED NEW FRONT TIRE

I had gotten a flat tire last week so I decieded to change the front tire while I had the tube out! The tire I got was an Excella of-213v size 80/100r-21 at Dennis Kirk, price was 46.95 Delivered. I found the tire at another web site for cheaper but Dennis Kirk beat their price by a dollar.I took the bike out for a ride with the new tire today but I only got 5 to 6 miles before it started to rain. The bike handels much better in the sand it tracks much better! The front end dosen't feel like it wants to wash out. As for the road proformance I didn't get much time on it but I did notice their is a little more road noise. Here are some pics.

Because of the size of the pic of the ripped valve stem.

I second GT on the super aggresssive sides! That's about as knobby as I've seen on a DOT tire! Must be pretty hairy on the street if you lean it too much.....[&:]

I didn't get much street time on it yet but I will let you know. It has been raining here in long Island last day or two so not much riding. In the dirt it feels pretty good. My favorite tires are the Dunlops 756 but that is a motocross tire, and not DOT approved. This tire is pretty close in design so I thought I give it a try.

Default How to Get Bike onto Milk Crates?

In case anyone hasn't noticed by the flurry of emails I am throwing out about tire selection and changing, I am prepping for my first ever tire change.

In doing so, I cam accross this pic in a post by onestarr99. My question is, how does one go about getting the bike all the way up onto those crates? Is this is a two man job or is there some trick I don't know about?

Thanks,
Chris

Upside down 5 gallon bucket works just fine.
