Thanks for posting the numbers man, to this point all I've had is a butt dyno and some numbers to think about from an old post. I'm at stage 2 and the bike is night and day better and at some point I like a dyno pull with an a/f ratio to look at my overall jetting but those numbers confrimed what I was thinking I did. By the way I think the old post I'm thinking about had stock hp closer to 16 than 18 so the bang for the buck here was pretty good.

I believe the air filter is the same for all 06-07's and 09-10's.

Anyways, I have always heard that a stage 2 jet kit, header and muff, and opened up airbox will yield 22-24 hp. Throw in a big bore and it goes to 26-27 hp.
I went ahead and ordered one of the K&N's. It looked the same as the one on the parts fiche for the 09SF.

Thanks for the heads up.

What does that mean? The lid is removed with snorkel and all but still the snorkel is modified??

Don't really know myself, but I'll find out when I pick up the bike tomorrow. I will report back.

I misunderstood. They just removed the snorkle. A snorklectomy, I've heard it called around here.

The K&N air filter is on the way.

The bike starts and sounds good. I'm a bit under the weather, so no riding today, but I will soon.

Final results: Max Power=23.54 Max Torque=15.66

Any idea on what jets were installed? 128 main? 132 main? Was the pilot jet changed?

If you could shed some light on what jets were used, that would be awesome.

Yeah, there is basically three things you can do to the intake box.

-get a bigger snorkel, the KDX200 snorkel is a direct fit.
-remove the snorkel all together
-or remove the lid all together

Removing the lid entirely is kind of loud and annoying. I suggest one of the first two, I noticed no power difference between the KDX200 snorkel and no snorkel at all.

They just removed the snorkle and left the lid on.
