Default industructable turn signals?

What have you guys come up with for trail worthy signals, short of removal? My stockers have been pretty tough and survived to the point but would like to bin them while they are still good for resale.

Have some ideas of my own but wanted to see what the others have done.

Check out the LEDs in Zeta handguards, they seem small.
I'd just buy some 12V flexible LED strips and glue them to a safe area on the handguards.

Oxford products Mini Cateye indicators. Long for the front and short for the back. 6 months of abuse and still there. The halogen bulbs are much brighter than the stock units too.

There's a product I think I got from Tucker Rocky that works great. They are @2 inch long stiff rubber pieces with holes on either end. Maybe search signal savers. 1 end to the body of bike, one end to a shorty signal. They allow for alot of adjustment and I haven't lost a signal amongst many, many naps.

I just ordered a set of cheap, like 13$, short blinkers online to replace the stockers. My change was mostly prompted by going to the edge taillight and needing to ditch the stockers for a set with a standard mounting system to fit the edge. The new ones were chosen to be small and cheap so that damage wouldn't make me cry so much. They are supposed to be flexible at the shaft but we'll see.

I would bet that your local dealer has a set for $10-$15, thats where I got mine. Personally l would go support the local dealer who supports your local riding areas instead of ordering online. Especially if you need ASAP. Thats what I did.

I'm in the market for some new (heat resistant!) turn signals after a taking the KLX out on Sunday. I decided to change the exhaust and add the tail kit, before picking new turn signals. A few hundred miles later they still haven't been changed, I'm thinking now is the time..
