An IMS tank update
I hit reserve for the first time today on the KLX since I put the IMS 3.2 gallon tank on. As reported by nobrakes, reserve comes on late in the game with this tank. I had 0.3 gallons remaining when I hit reserve.
On the crappy reformulated gas I have to run here in the Dallas area, I'm getting about 57 mpg average. I can count on at least 150 miles with this tank before reserve and I've seen 190 - 210 riding outside the city.

RE: An IMS tank update
I'm sure it will go easier the 2nd time around, Todd. My tank is still doing great - I've made a few minor adjustments over time but I think I have it dialed in pretty good with parts placement and fit. I think the only real issue was the location of the ignition coil and that just took a bit of trial and error get the fit just right. I still love the translucent white color and the look of the tank. I have you to thank for blazing the trail on that install - I probably never would have done if you hadn't proven it would fit.
Regarding mileage, I'm getting about 62 MPG on the roads and less when digging in on the trails.
