Lightbulb 'Ikea' Brake Snake (gear side.)

Finally got around to fitting up the gear shift lever with the 'Ikea' brake snake. 10 minute job. Solid!

Is that just to keep from bending and loosing the gear shift when you smack a rock good?

Looks like a B&B Offroad Bashplate same as mine, I believe you can get these snakes for the rear brake as well, WestOZ is that the stock gear shifter that u just had 2 drill a hole in.. I think I'll do both rear brake and gear.

Cheers
Chris

Yes it's stock, I drilled it. Also drilled the rear brake and fitted a 'snake' when the bike was brand new. Lost both brake and gear pedals to rocks on previous bikes. RPITA. Easy fix for a big problem while miles from home.

Where did you get the wire clamps, do you think they will hold?

They hold.
I used my bike lift to test the first one.
F#%kin' strong. It didn't slip or break.
