So, the dealer removed the factory plug/cover over the mixture screw or did you do that while trying to adjust it? Second, any reason why the tech didn't just go up a size with the pilot jet instead of drilling it? Just thinking that now you've got yourself a pilot jet with the wrong size stamped on it.

i havent payed a dime for the work, im gonna get my money outta that warranty haha. which i hate to say, cause i hate it when customers come back, but it is what it is. they popped the cap off the first time it went back to adjust it. this was round two. i checked everywhere for a damn vacuum leak, but i didnt think to check that screw. supposedly they drilled the pilot cause they didnt have the right pilot jet to reinstall. its been a frustrating ordeal, i just want it to be right.

I hear you, dude. That back-n-forth to the shop crap is for the birds, I've played that game before with my Jeep. I hope you get it running. Let us know how it goes.

well i picked it up last night, and it runs pretty good. they told me they drilled out the pilot jet out to 38, whick is a little rich for a stock motor, but i think ill take the snorkel out now, and it should be ok. on less thing to change when i bolt on the 351 jug haha
