Default Idle adjustment

The other morning I rode home after a night shift. The bike was idling high so I turned down the idle. Today it kept stalling when I took the choke off, I'm guessing I idles it too low for wet Vancouver days.

My question is: Which way do I turn the adjuster to increase the idle? I've tried clockwise and counter and it just dies when I let the throttle off arghhh[:'(].

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

After viewing other posts I unhooked the cable and found it was binding inside. It now moves and works.

As Napoleon Dynamite would say, " Idiot!!".

Clockwise = idle up These screws kind of hang up and bind a little, and I'm thinking they might make them that way so the idle will stay put.
