Default I was skeptical about the Jet kit...

But not after the ride to work today. You join a forum and see reports of performance, but in the back of your mind you're thinking I wonder what it really does.

I installed DJ 2152 kit, 128 Main, 3rd clip & 2 spacers. A/F screw three turns out, snorkel removed.

Wow ! Very noticeable difference. Much more throttle response down low and mid. I normally pull-out onto the highway and accelerate up to 50, today I did the same, looked down and was going 62. I always felt the bike had a lean surge above 40mph, that no longer exists.

I was supposed to add a FMF Powercore, but I got one for a 97-04. I sent that back yesterday, waiting for the correct one to arrive.

I just purchased the 2152 jet kit, new FMF Q4 and KDX snorkel for my 09. As I handed the man my credit card I too was skeptical. Although I have yet to install anything, your report of noticeable differences makes me feel a bit better.

Those are the exact same mods I'm looking to do. Where did you buy them?

Thanks adr, I have been contemplating the same thing for my bike. After reading your impressions I am ready to order it. I was wondering if the jetting helped with any starting problems you may have had as well?

It did need to be choked this morning, 48 degrees. I just went out at lunch (65 degrees) and it started w/o the choke.
