Default i probably did it wrong

i have a 09 250s i just put on the big gun plus the header i changed the jet from 118 120 is that right?

I think most guys are installing the 128 main jet, the KLX300R N1TC needle (clip 2nd position from the top), KDX200 Snorkle, a 35 or 40 Pilot Jet (with a Kouba FS2 adjustable fuel screw), a high-flow air filter and full exhaust system of your choice. I purchased the Big Gun EVO-R. You must take into account your elevation that you ride at and relative humidity. You should do a search on this topic followed by LOTS of reading. Good luck. . . these mods made a huge difference on my '06 KLX250!

Big gun says all you need to do is go one up on the main if all your adding is the exhaust. I have the same exhaust. I love the way it sounds on my 07.

I added a "pumper carb"

You could spend the 50.00 and get the dynojet kit ad the k&N filter as well.

(5 kids, a wife, and 2 dogs...I can't even spell "silence")

how does it run? Does it sputter at full throttle when the bike is under a load? For instance going up a hill? What elevation do you live at? 120 seems a little lean but maybe not.
