Default I Prefer Street Legal…

One of the major considerations for me when I became interested in going off road a couple years ago was the ability to get to trails without having to load & truck my bike. This video illustrates the point...

I tend to agree. I ride to be OUT of the car. Having to cart the bike around with another vehicle pretty much defeats a lot of the reasons I like to ride. It's a personal thing for me and just the way I prefer to balance the compromise.

Yup, but I wouldn't have laughed just now if it wasn't for those brilliant folks.

Glad that most of the hurt was just to pride.

Other than kicking his ramp out from the back of the truck, the guy at 2:15 actually did a really good job. At least he kept the bike upright.

Y'know, another thing this video demonstrates is that it's far better to be in the path of a falling bike than a falling quad!

WOW! I bet I've loaded my bike up in my truck 15 times by riding it up, and none of that has ever happened. And my truck is higher than most. The biggest problem is people give it too much gas and grab the clutch when they shouldn't. As far as the big street bikes, that's just something I wouldn't try. I used the loading dock at work. For the KLX I have the fold out quad ramp, and getting it back down is easy, the bike uses one side and I walk down the other. I would never try loading anything using planks, thats just an accident waiting to happen.
