UFO I believe also makes the handguards with turn signals, but they are oval signal lites, unlike the rectangular acerbis ones..checkout motovan.com website there will be several catalogues there fort different bikes, clothing etc.

to switch to LED's instead of fussing with the resister thing just get a flasher from a heavy truck dealer (Pete or KW) that is made for the LED turn signal lights. They are about 20$ and they will plug right in...2 wires.

do they make a loud "click" when they blink? that'd be nice.

I went with the long stalk turn signals for the front in the stock locations. Cost about $15 and are pretty bright.

If I get a chance this weekend, I am actually going to put my stock turns back on. I have struggled with this for a long time, and it basically comes down to doing anything that will improve my chances of survival and being seen. The Acerbis hand guards with the turns are not very bright in the day time. The rears are a little better, but I just figure 8 is better that 4. I'll let you know what happens. I think my trick flasher will still work.

+1 with truckman, I know a heavy duty flasher should do the trick, check with your local automotive parts store for one (2 prong like truckman said).I didn't try very hard to find one, but I know they exist.

I doubt if you will hear it with a helmet on, and if you run aftermarket exhaust, I'm sure you won't hear it at all..do a search for "forget to turn off your signal" as someone has a beeper or something to remind you to turn it off..

No you won't hear it.location, wind noise,exhaust....lots of noise.
It has to be a flasher for the LED lamps tho.The current draw on most LED's is only .1 or .2 amps whereas a normal incandescent bulb is around 2-5 amps depending on the wattage. The flasher already has the resistors built into it.I do have a suggestion for you though....On almost all of our Mack trucks we have a very annoying beeper that is plugged in with one wire (hot from flasher) and then one wire to ground it.It emits a very irritating beep when the turns or 4 ways are flashing....Most of our drivers rip them out they are so annoying.Any Mack truck dealer/parts plays would have one and it's only a few bucks. Not sure how weather resistant they are but i have seen some that were basically all but smashed flat and they still worked and annoyed you.
