Congrats, you won't be disappointed with 331. I'm glad to see you opting to go straight to larger bore. Not that there is anything wrong with 300, but 331 is even more of a good thing.

My carb settings were 35 pilot, 130 main, clip on 3rd position, and fuel screw at 2.0 out. At that time, I had the high flow snorkel installed. I'd say if you pulled the airbox lid you could go a little higher on the main. I'm also pretty much at sea level, so you may need to adjust for your altitude.

The stock carb had one heck of a mid-range hit with that setup. I was totally impressed when I whacked the throttle in the mid-range, it just pulled and pulled. Those settings were my best first guess and seemed to work OK so I didn't bother trying to dial it in better. My previous settings were #35, #125, 2nd clip position, and 2.0 turns out. So basically I just upped the main jet by 5 and dropped the clip position 1 notch.
