Angry

Yes, it was full of fuel. The reason it was sitting there is because #1 For my generator during hurricane season, #2, for my KLX. It was super unleaded.

Pretty brazen... Life's gonna look like a Mad Max movie if fuel prices keep going up. I never thought I'd see the day where people are stealing gasoline but it happens alot now.

Last year some choad stole my fat tire cruiser while I was mowing the lawn. I live in a pretty nice area and couldn't believe it- it was out of sight, too, so someone walked up to the door and went through my garage while I was in the back yard.

My replacement "pub" bike is locked to a 1/2 inch eye bolt that is embedded in a 4x4.

At least the $200 cruiser looked flashy enough to decoy. My custom Gary Fisher, last of the chro-mo X-Caliber hard tails, was sitting next to it with over a grand in aftermarket parts. I would have gone door to door with a machete to find that frameset again.

Freaking savages.

Low life thieves suck.

Years ago - unloading my quad at my parents house some dirt bag ripped off my gear bag. Coming home from the baja 1000 my friends gear bag got stolen from the back of his truck and then we got hit up by the local tijuana cops for a shake down bribe.

Now where I live there is a section 8 house, you wanna talk low lifes... I never show my chit unless I'm loading up to go riding.

Thumbs down

This morning at work, a co-worker talked me into notifying the local Police Department. I called them, gave the facts, and the person I talked to told me they would keep an eye out for my gas can. I thought to myself, I just wasted my time calling them. An investigating officer never called me back. I knew they would not do a thing about it. I live in a pretty nice neighborhood, but I never see the police in my area, except for two cop cars sitting in the parking lot of our local yacht/country club.
