Angry I got ripped off today

So today is Labor Day. A co-worker/buddy comes over today to show off his new motorycle. I open my garage and pull his bike halfway in to my two car garage, so that it is relatively safe from theft and the seat of his bike baking in the hot Florida sun. We hang out in my house for about 15-20 minutes for a cold Coke, come back out, close the garage door, hop on our bikes and go for a ride. When I put my bike in the garage after the ride, I noticed that one of my two five gallon gas cans is missing. Somebody came into my garage when the overhead door was open, and stole one of my fuel cans. I didn't notify the local police because too much time had gone by. Damn this really pisses me off!!! I hate thiefs!!! The thing that worries me is the thief now knows of all the stuff I've got in my garage.

Seems odd that they only took a gas can. Was it full of fuel?

i worry about this whenever we go riding, i used to leave the fuel can in the back of the truck but nowdays since it costs so much to fill it up i have to lock it in up front.

I don't hate very many things in this world, but thieves have to be at the top of my list.

Default accomidate them

I had the same thing happen to me right in my yard while I was cutting grass. So I accomidated them with a new gas can and half a pound of surgar in it. They took the new gas can a couple of weeks later. Then shortly after they took it I found out the punk's trashy Civic across the street went belly up. Just a thought.
