Default I finished polishing my pipe.... lol

Well i must say i am impressed with mothers aluminum polish... Everything didnt come off but i am happy with the results...

A++ for those with the BG you NEED to get some of this.... it makes the pipe shine again.... great stuff.

Looks good! a polishingcloth biton a drill motor with the compound that you have been using, may help you remove the spots on the welds.

yea i was thinking about using those polishing wheels for a dremel.... but im not Deej.... lol.... its good enough, im just glad it wasnt rust, and it mostly came off.... let us not forget it is a DIRT bike.... lol... sorry deej....

I thought it was rust. Forgot that aluminum oxidizes white, not reddish brown. If that was rust, I would be worried about the integrity of the pipe.

If I recall Mothers has a product called the "Poweball" that goes on the end of a drill motor that might save some labor on the next polish job.

Thanks, I am not familiar with any of mothers products. The pressure washer usually works good enough for me. I don't bother to polish. From the looks of EMS_0525's bike. I can use it. Then again it will just get dirty tomorrow.

Looks great Eric, glad your keeping the prespective... Its a DIRT BIKE... Couldn't agree more!!!

(Yeah, Deej, I know, I know, I'm now assigned to cleaning my dirt bike with a tooth brush for that outburst... SIR YES SIR!!!)

The pipe is 'mild steel.'That's what had him worried.Glad to hear it worked out for you EMS.
