Chalk one up to the 1 year warranty. Glad you are not out of pocket brother - cam shaft is not cheap.

Wow you mean I had it spot on I just figured there was nothing else up there in the head to make a noise as described.... And if your cam chain makes noise it will be way louder than the one you had..... I'm glad you are getting it fixed up
I put my new K270's on I'm very happy acept for a small out of balance problem with the front tire. I need to get access to a nice tire balancer. I guess you would have to figure that much rubber would have a chance to be out some.. I don't notice it on back roads just over 40 mph on real smooth roads.

You nailed it, bro! [sm=icon_ladiesman.gif] If my bike ever starts making strange noises, I'm going to record it and send it to you.

Here's a thought. Since we don't even have a backup option for starting why do we even need the compression release anyway? Or did Kawi pick a wimpy starter motor and it can't handle the compression of the mighty 250?

I Think our bike has 11to1 comp or around that... That is kinda hard for that little tiny starter to kick it over. Some of the other trail bikes have like 9.5 to 1 that would not need a compression release.....
