Soooooooooooooooooooo
Was getting my KLX back up and running after having it stored over the winter and during the process of firing her up I put the battery pack cables on the wrong battery terminals briefly (got side tracked, am such a **** ).
My bike now does nothing at all, no power, nothing, nada etc etc even with battery pack on.
The battery was dead anyway, was just firing it to get it to the dealer to have a pre season check over, new battery would have been bought anyway.
Now I know I may have fried a couple of components but what I am hoping is that someone can advise me on what I have fried. Hopefully just blown the battery or a fuse but does anyone know if there is a diode or similar to stop reverse power going to the ECU as if I have fried that it will cost me a pretty penny.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

STUPID NUMPTY!!!!
(Just kidding. Most of us have or will do this.) Probably a fuse. I wouldn't sweat it too much.........'till you replace them and it still doesn't work.....
Let us know what you find.

did this on my ninja once when I was using a different (wrong) battery in it and the terminals on the battery were reverse what the old battery was.
Just fried the main fuse. Replaced it and was on my way in a matter of minutes.
