I ran over what looked like a small rattler the other day riding the KLX. I turned around to check but it was gone.

When I was out in Arizona with my wife last march I told her to keep an eye out for road kill snakes(no way I'm going near a live one). I had one of my knives with me and if we had seen one I was going to get a rattle for you. No luck.. too cold.

Dang, I just get back and find Deej is posting at himself on the first page. Don't freak out. If the jetting is already on the leaner side, it will just be on the richer side at a higher alt. If the jetting is right, it should not be a problem up to 6,000 ft alt.

So I'm just wondering would not the quick /easy fix for this be to remove the airbox lid/snorkle? That would lean it out a little and its not like that part of oregon contains enough water to flood any trails?
I realise the "crisis" is over but I was surprised not to see this suggestion so I want to double check my logic
