Default Hunting with the 09 KLX 250s

Well Ive just come back from a Hunting trip in the arid area Nth of Broken HillNSW* Australia where we were hunting feral pests, goats, pigs, donkeys, and foxes, after some 200km on the klx we shot feral goats for meat and couldnt find the donkeys, farmer saw them the day we left LOL and it was too dry for pigs.Ride impression nothing short of awesome, from steep rocky terrain to deep sand I always felt in control the bike is very nimble and sure footed. The mods I did were MX tires, derestrict carby, staintune pipe with removable silencer (however needs further modding as is just a little too loud for hunting) i used the stock pipe for this trip.I will go down a tooth on front sprocket and that will be it.I also want a carry rack but I cant find any thing in Australia for the hunters out there I was using a* 308 remington police pump action rifle with a ten round magazine and a nightforce compact 1 to 4 scope. An awesome bike rifle, chasing down the goats was awesome fun through some testing terrain.Temp was mid 40 celcius and lowest it got was 37 as we had a mate who actually had a digital thermometer LOL

nah it is a military helmet (black hawk down type) like the ones special forces use, made by protec, coincidently same as skaters, you cant use mx helmets as you cant scope the rifle, hence the military option.

It got too hot for any helmet so you just had to take it easy and ride smart.

But I didnt even come close to binning it as the kawasaki is awesome and feels like a toy compared to my 07 crf 450r mx bike

Mate you yanks wouldnt care for it but it was overlooked in our great gun steal back of 1996 as our government does not trust us with semi autos.

its the Remington police patrol rifle 7600 (carbine version of the long rifle 7600 series)

Its the only fun non bolt action rifle for us here in Aus, I truly drool over what you have in the states, I would have had an M 14 for sure as well as an SLR and AR 10, stupid gun laws that only punish the law abiding citizens.

If u want a rack, this guy makes them in the states and sells them on ebay. Im in Australia and i bought one, its pretty expensive because the exchange rate is so bad at the moment. It worked out costing me just under $200. There is a really good thread on these racks too on this forum.

Ebay:

There are also some nice racks here:
