I wonder why more people didn't have that problem? Unless you were the lucky guy to get most of the bad heads. I think if that had been me I might have sworn off Kawi after going thru all that.

Read the whole story. The bike had a timing chain issue from the start. They fixed the head and trouble came from there.

If it aint broke, keep fixing it till it is!

both brand new heads should have had machining work done but only the second one which is still on my bike had additional work done, the first new head the guy never checked to see if the piston was hitting the valves.

If you guys don't mind, can you take a look at this head and tell me if it's something that you would purchase? It says there is some rust on the intake valves.

It says 7 day money back. Buy the head, take it to a shop and have it inspected for wear and problems.

I was going to send the head to Mr. Blue and have him iron out the odds and ends. I didn't know if it was worth having him do this though. He said he could use some glass bead stuff to get rid of the rust. I placed an offer of $375 for the head just because it has everything in it already. There is another guy on here that said he would sell me his head but it has a bent cam jornal or something along those lines. So my options are pretty limited unless I get a new head and all new internal components.
