Default howdy all!! jet kit..

havent been on here in a while so i cant quite remember what i need..soo i figured i would ask the rest of you!

so i got a klx250sf with a slip on exhaust and it back fires a little bit so i figured i should order a jet kit for it. what kit do i need to get?

soon after i do the jet kit i will also get a new header, air filter, and do the airbox mod. that is pretty much all the performance i will do for a while untill i get the big bore kit, but that isnt in the near future.

so what kit? thanks guys!

I'm new to KLX's, but I ordered a stage 2 today. I plan on opening up the airbox.

Curious, why does everyong say "ordered a Stage 2" when it's the same part number from Dynojet?

I'm specifically referring to the KLX250SF. Part # 2182

https://cart.jetkit.com/p-1580-jet-k...-klx250sf.aspx

I mean, it's the same since the instructions mention what "makes" it Stage 1 or Stage 2...

For the 2009+ bikes the dynojet kit is a stage one/two kit. You don't have to choose. The only difference between stage 1 and 2 is the size of the main jet you install and the kit comes with quite a few.

Dang it 407guy beat me to it.

The OP didn't say what year bike. Some folks get a kit that was built for a different bike too, maybe that makes them choose stage?
